Dr. James M. Worthington

Dr. Worthington has active privileges at Charlton Memorial. He has served as Medical Staff Officer at Charlton for multiple terms.

Dr. Worthington has had significant involvement with the Ad Hoc Committee responsible for the establishment of hip and knee treatment plans and critical pathways at Charlton. This successful project is responsible for significant improvements in the in-house care of joint replacement patients.
Dr. Worthington earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont and received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
His residencies in both surgery and orthopedic surgery were completed at the Brown University School of Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital where he was Chief Resident in Orthopedic Surgery.
