David M. Boland, M.D.

A dedicated and enthusiastic spirit, Dr. Boland has over 30 years of experience in orthopedic medicine.  He specializes in the treatment of orthopedic conditions involving the upper extremities including hands and shoulders.  He is the foremost authority on hand surgery in southeastern Massachusetts.

Dr. Boland completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY and received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA.   His residency in orthopedic surgery was accomplished at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA followed by a fellowship in hand surgery at Columbia University, NY, NY.

A Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Boland also holds a Certification of Advanced Qualification in Hand Surgery.

Dr. Boland has privileges at Fall River’s Charlton Memorial Hospital, Saint Anne’s Hospital, and the Same Day Surgiclinic.  He sees patients in Fall River, MA and is available for consultations. New patients are welcome.
